Carolina RIDES+ is excited to have two Pilot Programs starting Summer 2022:
Collaborations with Southeast Transportation in Nicholtown and Dash EV in five City of Greenville parking locations.
1. RideShare Pilot: demand-response service project: Southeast Transportation Pilot in Nicholtown
RIDES+ is partnering with Southeast Transportation to provide mobility service in the greater Nicholtown community. RIDES+ has raised funds to subsidize the costs of rides to-and-from homes for both vital as well as community enhancement services for the residents of the greater Nicholtown community.

2. CarShare Pilot: Dash EV in downtown Greenville, SC: First mile/last mile solution
RIDES+ is partnering with Innova EV to bring Dash EVs (electric vehicles) to downtown Greenville. Dash EVs will function similarly to Bird or Lime scooter services. Riders will be able to request Dash EVs through an app. Downtown Greenville will serve as a center for connected multimodal mobility through EV infrastructure, V2X communication, Smart City Cloud to provide equitable mobility services. Artificial Intelligence supported Edge and Cloud Collaboration will function to communicate between connected vehicles, traffic signals, EV charging stations, and connected parking to safely integrate this service in downtown Greenville.
